Allison Rakowski is a senior from Niles, MI majoring in Sociology and minoring in Biology. Outside of MED, she is an advisor with the pre-med hub and is a research assistant in the Wolfe lab studying organometallic chemical reactions. She also is an undergraduate instructor for honors organic chemistry lab. In her free time, Allison loves to read, sing, and do all sorts of crafts!
Madison Konja is a sophomore from Novi, MI majoring in BCN and minoring in biochemistry. Outside of MED, she is involved in research and is a certified pharmacy technician. During her free-time, she enjoys practicing the piano, longboarding, and listening to music.
Joey Joppich is a junior from Lake Orion, MI majoring in MCDB and Spanish. Outside of MED, he is the Vice President of the Spikeball Club on campus and enjoys Model UN. In his free time he enjoys getting ice cream, working in his lab, and brainstorming rush events.
Rhea Gupta is a junior from Rochester Hills, MI majoring in Spanish and Neuroscience. Outside of MED, she is involved in clinical and surgical research studying mitral valve disease at the cardiovascular center, advocating for health equity, and is the publicity chair of the women’s club water polo team. In her free time, she enjoys binge-watching Netflix shows, traveling, and going to concerts!
Kaylee Chan is a sophomore from Shelby Township, MI and is majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. Outside of MED, she is a research assistant in the Conceptual Development Lab, volunteers with the Washtenaw County Juvenile Court as an English tutor, and volunteers with the ELI as a conversation circle facilitator. In her free time she loves going thrifting, binge watching bad reality tv, exploring new places, and having a good time with friends!
Sanjana Kumar is a sophomore majoring in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology. She is originally from Canton, MI but spent 7 years living internationally before returning to the US. Aside from MED, she is a research assistant, chair of SAAN, and president of Michigan Comics for Social Justice. In her free time, she works for an NGO, plays soccer, and travels with friends
