We are committed to giving back to our community through meaningful service. Beyond volunteering in hospital settings, we engage in various outreach opportunities to make a positive impact. Events we have participated in the past include a Teddy Bear Clinic, Fleece & Thank You Blanket Making, Pet Shelter Volunteering, and Pie-a-Brother Fundraisers!
We are dedicated to advancing our professional development, and we achieve this through a variety of skill-building workshops. These include medical admissions consulting, research seminar advising, academic support and exam preparation, as well as CPR and basic life support training certificates!
Or MEΔucation, as we like to call it. From mini lessons during our chapter meetings to tours of medical schools and hospitals, we seize every opportunity to immerse ourselves in the field of medicine. Our members frequently collaborate on tutoring, study sessions, and skill-building, ensuring we support each other’s academic and professional growth.
MEΔ is more than just an organization; it’s a family. We foster strong connections and a sense of brotherhood through a variety of social events, ranging from small, personal coffee chats to participation in intramural sports teams and retreats! These activities ensure that our members build lasting relationships and a supportive community.
Engaging with our community—both within the University and the greater city of Ann Arbor—is a priority for us. We actively collaborate with other campus organizations on workshops and social events, and we support their fundraising efforts, volunteer activities, and initiatives to build awareness and strengthen our shared community.
